Conference Info
The
2007 International Joint
Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN) marks the 20 year anniversary of
this event. To celebrate this important milestone in the neural networks
field, the organizers of the conference would like to reflect on past
progress and also to inject new energy into the field. The conference will
provide an excellent venue to demonstrate the great promise and the real
substance behind recent advances in brain inspired computation and the
understanding of the brain. The organizers of IJCNN 2007 are working
diligently to implement several critical measures to make the conference a
great success.
As important components of the conference, we will try
to institute more systematic procedures for student grants, the student
paper competition, and poster paper presentation awards. There will also be benchmark competitions, panels, pre-conference tutorials, and
post-conference workshops. The conference will be held at the Renaissance
Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida from August 12 through August 17. The
hotel is currently undergoing renovation, and all the guestrooms and meeting
areas will be in excellent shape for the conference in 2007. Right across
the street from SeaWorld and Discovery Cove, the hotel is in an excellent
location in downtown Orlando.
The IJCNN is the premier conference in the field of
neural networks and Orlando features something for everyone. We would like
to extend our warmest welcome to everyone to attend this exciting event:
bring your colleagues, students, friends, and family.
Please visit the conference webpage announcing the
IJCNN'07
NN3 Neural Network Forecatsing Competition for additional information.
Awards
We will recognise the best
submission in 3 Awards for participants of the IJCNN'07 workshop on the NN3
neural forecasting competition. The prices of US$ 150.- each were kindly
provided by the IJCNN'07 conference organisers. The prices associated with each award will
be announce later.
- Best paper award
- Best overall submission for
111 time series
- Best reduced dataset
submission for 11 time series
Latest News!
20.10.2006
We have been fortunate to have been
offered a workshop with fulll papers to be published in the IJCNN
proceedings submitted via the normal conference website.
01.12.2006
The workshop will most probably be held on 18 August 2007, in order not to
conflict with the regular conference sessions.
More information on submission and timing is coming soon ...
